Mexico is expected to be the world’s fifth largest economy by 2050 – now could be a great time to start doing business over there. If you do set up in Central America, travelling can be expensive, so it pays to find a reliable international teleconference provider.
How to set up a conference call between Mexico and the UK
The first thing to do is to visit ConferenceCall.co.uk to get your free, unique PIN and then click on the ‘Invite Participants’ tab to generate an email template. The next thing to do is paste it into the body of an email and then send it to as many as 100 participants, then wait for your conference call to begin.

Situated on the southernmost part of North America, Mexico – officially known as the United Mexican States – is bordered by the USA to the north and Guatemala and Belize to the south. It has coastlines along the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Caribbean Sea to the east.
What is the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice on traveling to Mexico?
If you’re travelling to Mexico, check the latest travel advice where Covid-19 restrictions are concerned and be prepared for plans to change at the last minute.
The FCO does not advise against any travel to Mexico, but caution should be taken when travelling during the hurricane season, which normally runs from June to November and affects both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.
There are also reports of drug-related violence, but this doesn’t usually extend to tourist destinations, and all travelers should be alert to the existence of street crime as well as more serious violent crime like robbery, assault and vehicle hijacking.
Illegal roadblocks have been reported more frequently, particularly in the states of Guerrero, Michoacán, Oaxaca and Chiapas. If you’re driving in these states, travel during daylight hours and use toll roads where possible, although you may still encounter disruptions.
Most of the main tourist destinations just require the usual level of caution, but it you’re travelling outside of these areas you’ll need to be extra vigilant.
The emergency number in Mexico is 911. You can also download the 911 CDMX app (for Mexico City) or the Guest Assist App (for Quintana Roo).
